Kisses

This is a video of Asa giving the baby (still in my tummy) kisses and zerberts.

Celebration at the Station

Every year the KC Symphony has a free outdoor concert for Memorial Day. It's at Union Station and the audience sits on the lawn in front of the Liberty Memorial, the National World War I memorial. The concert this year was even better than last year. Asa did a great job playing and staying in our area. There were a lot of fireworks after the concert. Asa fell asleep during the long display.

Walking Around

Here's video of Asa walking. It's not the best, but it shows how good he is at walking!

Long time coming...

It's sad that I haven't logged in to my blog in so long that I had to look up my username and password. Wow!
What is Asa doing? He is good at walking. He talks a lot, but we don't know what he says. He does say some words: Mommy, Daddy, banana, ball, baby and no. I can't remember others right now.
I cleaned out a box of plastic containers the other day and was planning to throw away a bunch of disposable butter, yogurt, etc containers. They were in a paper sack and he's been happily playing with them since then. It gives me something to trip on every day. Last week Asa was watching Sesame Street. Ernie was teaching Bert to rub his tummy and pat his head. I looked over at Asa and he was patting his head. It was cute! Sunday Asa opened the bathroom door. He hasn't done it since then, but this could be the beginning of the end of privacy. Asa likes to give my tummy kisses and zerberts! I think he's excited to be a big brother.
Speaking of the new baby, I have a little more than five weeks left. I'm doing pretty well with the pregnancy. I have had a lot of back pain, but the chiropractor is helping with that. I have a sinus infection also. The doctor gave me a prescription yesterday and I'm already feeling much better. James is happy because I've been extra crabby since I've been sick. Hopefully this weekend will be more peaceful than last weekend!
